In humble obedience to the gracious command of His Majesty the King, we, the Chancellery-College of the Realm, do publicly proclaim that, with the aid of the privilege graciously granted by His Majesty, only the Royal Swedish Academy of Science may henceforth publish and print almanacs, and that no other person may thereafter reproduce them: The Royal Academy will begin to do so from the coming year 1749, and in by contracts with bookbinders for the purpose of distributing and selling almanacs



    

Til underdånigst följe af Kongl. Maj:ts Nådiga befallning, har Thez och Riksens Canzelie-Collegium härmed bordt allmänneligen tilkänna gifwa, at sedan nu mera, i kraft af Kongl. Maj:ts i nåder förunte Privilegium, härwarande Kongl. Swenska Wettenskaps Academien allena tilkommer at utgifwa och låta trycka Almanachor, utan at the hädanefter af någon annan stå at erhållas: så har bemälte Kongl. Academie för tilkommande År 1749. thermed giordt en början, och igenom Contract med Bokbindarne then anstalt fogat, at
