Extract uit de Decreeten van de Vergadering der provisioneele Repraesentanten van het Volk van Holland.
den 27 November 1795.

HET EERSTE JAAR DER BATAAFSCHE VRYHEID.

Het Committe van Koophandel en Zeevaart met de aan hetzelve toegevoegde Burgers voor zo veel den Boekhandel betreft, hebben het navolgend Rapport uitgebragt, over de Requesten door verschillende Boekverkoopers aan deeze Vergadering ingeleverd, en daar by tevens een Concept Decreet overgelegt, het welk door deeze Vergadering zoude kunnen genomen worden.

Welke voorsz. Concept Decreet vervolgens is gearresteerd, en in een besluit deezer Vergadering geconverteerd, zullende het zelve gedrukt en daar van eenige exemplaaren aan de Municipaliteiten der plaatsen alwaar zich Boekhandelaars bevinden gezonden worden, ten einde daar mede te handelen als in het gemelde Decreet is vermeld.
