ARTICLE 109
      
            The owners of dramatic or
musical works, or their representatives, may
also check daily the record of tickets and
the counterfoils issued by theatres.
Those theatres that pay a fixed sum for each
performance shall be relieved from the obligation.
If the author or owners deeem it necessary,
they may stamp the tickets to secure
their interests.
      
ARTICLE 110
      
            In the theatres in which the
performance right is assessed on the basis
of the percentage of the product of the tickets,
the theatrical companies may give the unsold
tickets away, communicating this to the
owners of the works.
      
            In that event, the nominal
value shall not taking into account for
the payment of royalties.
      
ARTICLE 111
      
            The rights of the co-authors
are the same whatever their part played in the
conception, development or writing of the
work, unless otherwise provided.
      
            The same shall apply to the
co-authors of musical works in respect of
their contribution to the composition.
      
      
      
      

ARTICLE 112
      
            Authors or owners of a libretto
and music of a new dramatico-musical work
shall decide previously and before its
acceptance in a theatre, whether the author
of the music may freely print and record
the lyrics of the music or he should follow
the conditions required by the libretto.
Unless otherwise stipulated, the author
of the music may print or transfer it
separately or together with the lyrics.
      
ARTICLE 113
      
            In respect of dramatic or
musical works performed in public,
the scenary and other accessories of
scenic nature shall not give their authors
any right to be considered collaborators.
      
ARTICLE 114
      
            Cafés and cafés-teatros are subject
to the Copyright Act and to the police regulations
governing such premises.
      
ARTICLE 115
      
            These premises shall also be
subject to the payment of royalties that the
owners of dramatic or musical works or their
representatives may fix when issuing the
preliminary authorisation requested.




    








ARTICULO 109
      
            Los Propietarios de obras dramáticas ó
musicales ó sus representantes podrán también
intervenir diariamente las cuentas de billetes
vendidos en la contaduría y en el despacho por
medio de cuadernos talonarios, exceptuándose
de esta obligación los teatros que paguen por el
tanto alzado de representación.
            Cuando los autores ó propietarios lo
crean necesario, podrán marcar los billetes con
un sello especial para garantía de sus intereses.
      
ARTICULO 110
      
            En los teatros en que el derecho de re-
presentación consista en un tanto por ciento
del producto de las entradas podrán las em-
presas regalar los billetes que consideren
sobrantes, poniéndolo en conocimiento de los
propietarios de las obras.
            En tal caso no se contará el valor nominal
de ellos para el efecto del pago de derechos.
      
ARTICULO 111
      
            Los derechos de los coautores son
iguales, cualquiera que sea la parte que
hayan tomado en el pensamiento fun-
damental y en el desarrollo y redacción
de la obra, salvo acuerdo en contrario.
            Los mismos derechos corresponden a los
coautores de la música respecto a su
composición.
      
      
      
      

ARTICULO 112
      
            Los autores ó propietarios del libreto y de
la música de de una obra lírico-dramática nueva
establecerán previamente, y ántes de su
admision en el teatro, si el autor de la música
puede imprimir ó grabar libremente la letra
correspondiente á las melodías, ó las con-
diciones que para permitirlo exija el
del libreto.
            Si no se pactase nada en contrario, el
autor de la música puede imprimirla o enaje-
narla sola ó junta con la letra cantable
correspondiente.
      
ARTICULO 113
      
            En las obras dramáticas ó musicales que
se ejecuten en público, la decoración y demás
accesorios del material escénico no dan derecho
a sus autores a ser considerados como
colaboradores
      
ARTICULO 114
      
            Los cafés y cafés-teatros, además de lo
que previene la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual,
están sujetos a las reglas especiales de policía
que se dicten para esta clase de establecimien-
tos.
      
ARTICULO 115
      
            Están asimismo sujetos al pago de los
derechos que los propietarios de las obras
dramáticas ó musicales ó sus representantes
fijen al concederles el permiso especial que
la solicitarán previamente.
