after having seen and examined
the convention for the bilateral
safeguarding of literary and
artistic property, which was concluded,
on the proviso of ratification, in Paris,
on 23 February 1882, by the pleni-
potentiaries of the two states - a
convention which has been approved by
the National Council* on 24 April
1882 and by the Council of States**
on the 27th of the same month, and
whose tenor is as follows:
