      The President of the Republic of France
      and His Majesty the King of Spain,
      being equally desirous of guaranteeing
      in a more efficient manner
      the property of literary, scientific or artistic
      works have deemed convenient
      to conclude a new special convention
      for that purpose, and have therefore
      named as their Plenipotentiaries,
      that is to say: -
      
      The President of the
      Republic of France,
      Mr D. C. of Freycinet;
      Senator; President of the Council,
      Minister of Foreign Affairs, Officer
      of the Legion of Honour, etc
      




    



      
      
      El Presidente de la Republica Francesa y
      su Magestad el Rey de España, animados
      igualmente del deseo de
      garantizar de una manera
      mas eficaz en Francia y en
      España, el derecho de propie-
      dad sobre las obras literarias,
      científicas ó artísticas, han
      resuelto al efecto concluir
      un nuevo Convenio especial
      y han nombrado por
      sus Plenipotenciarios, á
      saber:
      
      El Presidente de la
      Republica Francesa,
      al Sr. D. C. de Freycinet;
      Senador; Presidente del
      Consejo, Ministro de Negocios
      Estrangeros, Oficial de la Legion
      de Honor; etc, etc, etc.
